Can you use that tube of biscuits that are flaky? Our local donut shop sells what they call a 'Cro-Nut" (a doughnut crossed with a croissant). They are yummy and delicious. Topped with a glaze over them .

I tried this recipe, followed it to a tee. I put the dough in a dutch oven to cook. After an hour (not 30 minutes) it started to brown. The bread was still not cooked in the middle and was stuck to the dutch oven like concrete. I scraped it out and tossed it. I re-watched the video to see it I missed anything. Nope. I guess I did not pray over it.

I love my mommas meatloaf so so much and then my husband loved it too. Now my kids love it even more. I have all boys and when I make meatloaf I gotta eat it quick as my boys will take every last bit of it.

In 2015 we stayed at a campground near the Badlands that had a small, privately owned military museum on site. It was one of the neatest museums we had seen. I believe it was mostly WWII and it was free to tour, although donations were gladly accepted. The place you’re at looks similar to where we stayed, which only cost $5/night at the time. All we had was electric and there were no showers or bathrooms. Still a neat and peaceful place to camp.

Can you help anyone? I have made this for the last 3 summers and it’s wonderful but this year my squash was not and is not moist, so the cornmeal doesn’t stick. Should I soak the squash in something, dip the squash in egg and milk then dip in the cornmeal?

I'm so disappointed in this video ,a very big fan of hillbilly kitchen and to hear her saying cook corn in a microwave is just sad that's not cooking corn , will not effect me watching or following her video but corn should never be nuked in my opinion

Becky, I bought your cookbook. I enjoyed how you set it up and the recipes included. If you were born in 1968, that was the year I was married--June. My husband and I just celebrated our 56th anniversary. We have been saved 62 years for me and 63 years for him. God has blessed us with three adult children, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. I plan on making this recipe, I love peppermint patties and they cost so much to buy.
